Okay. I should look into it again. I had a play with it and ipv6 a couple of years ago and
went back to UCX on the VAX.
One day I need to re-do the DECnet at home between the 11's and the the VAXen and the
occasional TS10 so I can find out what's required to get onto the hecnet.

Why is Multinet easier?
Because the Multinet TCP/IP suite includes a DECnet-over-IP driver for DECnet. And we have
several machines on HECnet that can act as the other point to such a connection. In
addition, we do not even require a static, or public IP address for it to work.

Hello!
I can tell you folks that Dave M has privately e-mailed me that
he's too busy to participate this year.
We need other DECheads to pick up the slack!
Be happy to help with the setup but
the only DEC gear I have left is
a
VT180 and Rainbow.
Well, for anyone interested, getting connectivity to HECnet would be easy if you have VMS
with Multinet, or an RSX system...
