Depending on the system, that might be true. There are very different
type of nodes...
We have different goals - I'm not counting
nodes, I'm counting general
purpose computing hardware.
Well, the nodename database don't make any such distinction. The purpose
for it, in the end, is the mapping between DECnet node numbers and
names. Which is meaningful for any kind of node.
