I totally did not get that. My comment was about the fact that logging is not free. Of
course it costs you something. (performance being the obvious cost with computers)

Is it possible to add some debugging that is less performance intensive but can you tell

I suspect 90% of the issues with the bridge not working are solely down to network
configuration... if it is obvious that there is a link then it allows me to focus on the
10% of issues that aren't down to my stupidity ;)
