I'm completely in favor of that too, but I don't know if it will fly. The
issue is that it's impossible to separate the "bridge circuit" cost from
any
other Ethernet cost, so the bridge cost applies to any other DECnet machines
on your LAN. In almost all cases this is of no consequence, but ISTR there
were some people that this caused a problem. If I'm wrong, then great -
problem solved...
