Paul,
hecnet-1023, 192.108.202.70 is UP but I drop all packets towards it that
are not HECnet tunnels in one or the other form.. (linux.....)
Ping the router side 192.108.202.69 if you need to ping it. Or
use the ping value from Mim, they are connected to the same router.
MIM has no router filters, as Johnny want's to harden his IP stack
for RSX11.
So if I have an existing (Multinet) link to mim, which
of these two
should it move to?
Any would work, I think Johnny wrote that he prefer the PYrouter
for traffic, hecnet-1023, 192.108.202.70.
Ask Johnny about his preferences and ask him to configure it
on his side.

I'm confused. Those two host names resolve to
different addresses.
Mim.stupi.net seems to be up (it answers pings); hecnet-1023 does not answer
ping. So if I have an existing (Multinet) link to mim, which of these two
should it move to?
