Sampsa Hi Sampsa I'd like to run up an instance of the VAX/MP SIMH project - ideally with quite a few CPUs (say 8 min)? I was going to buy a server but now I have a big car repair bill to stump up. Hi, I believe that "Network Access SW V3.6 BL01" is the very latest WWENG2.SYS available that supports many different types of DECservers. However, it is still being actively(?) sold by Vnetek (the company after DNPG): http://www.vnetek.com/p-2887-dnas-decserver-network-access-software.aspx I did have an issue with that version with modems and DECserver 700s that I had to fall back to V3.5 on those. The DECserver 900TM seems to be working well. Regards Rob I believe the WWENG2.SYS from Dave McGuire is version 2.2. I have a 900TM booting 2.4, and another which I loaded with 2.2 from Dave. 2.2 works, but 2.4 seems more stable and faster, but I just have 2.4 on a card in the one 900TM. I've just scanned the 1000-odd page software source book for VAX/VMS, 6th Edition from October 1990, available from my scans page: http://wickensonline.co.uk/app/index.html#/scans This is a mammoth book (beware the 643MB download size!) but is a fantastic example of just how pervasive VAX and VMS were. It contains a comprehensive listing of software available for the platform both from DEC and independent software houses. Interesting personally is the indication of programming language used.
