Yes, it's acually an emergency disk image that I pressed into work when my VAX got too noisy and the simh I used to use on OS/X was broken by the Snow Leopard update.
I dread to think what else might be on it ...

HECnet have been running fine for a long, long time by now. :-)
But there are definitely things to look at.
Ideally if would be very nice to implement an alternative to my bridge program which actually routes instead of bridging. But that would take a lot of work, and I definitely don't have time for that right now.
Ideally it should also be able to talk with the Cisco implementation in this case.
And of course, people could think about writing bridge programs for things like PHONE <-> talk, ftp gateways, and other stuff, if they feel like getting a project. There is much to play around with.

Hello!
According to the manuals for E11, it now can be configured to communicate
with peripherals other then the usual things that the PC normally wears.
I am planning a peripheral who has the address of &H300 on the PC, according
to my manuals for the PC, that's the address of the prototype board for
them.
I would like to write a module for E11 so that anything who writes to an
appropriate location matching one of the PDP11's own gizmos for data
communications other then the typical printer (parallel, serial), serial
port for terminal, would have its output sent to this peripheral.
I am asking here, since I saw an interesting post from John Wilson earlier
this week. My next step would be to repeat this question on the newsgroups
for the PDP11. And of course I will be reading and if necessary re-reading
the documentation for the E11.

Access information for node CODA::/ACCOUNT:decnet
I don't think "decnet" is the correct account to use for default access -
it should be a null account name and a null password. In transparent DECnet
speak, it would be CODA""::INFO.TXT. I don't know exactly how that
translates to NFT.

This is the node CODA, currently an AlphaServer DS20E running OVMS 8.3, in
Bob and Debee's Computer Garage and Retirement Home for old DEC computers.
It normally runs 24x7 and serves as our server for mail, DNS, NTP, Samba, and
a few other services. It's also a hub of sorts for other machines which connect
to HECnet via Multinet DECnet over TCP/IP connections.
