Could be that someone that is connected have something broken. That tends to create havoc. Typical things would be looping back incoming packets, or creating a circular topology.
I have not checked all mails in my box yet. I'll get back if this still is an issue...

Is everything ok on the bridge - whenever I turn mine on I get about 10-20 hashes / sec from your side and it kills my routing totally.

Yes we did try and in fact it revealed an important bug which is fixed. What we failed to resolve, as I recall, was an apparent problem with some adjacencies yo-yoing up and down. I too was having a similar problem at the time, but that turned out to be a bad switch I had on my network, the adjacency is pretty solid now. I would be very happy to try again. Please download the latest from CodePlex (route20.codeplex.com) and build it. Someone has also told me it won t compile on FreeBSD so I am going to see if I can fix that too.

I have just downloaded the spec and will think about how easy it would be to add this to the router, not that anyone other than me uses it :-(

I'm having some problems with the bridge, I seem to see an awful lot of hashes from update, which then borks all my connectivity.
Going to try to go with the MULTINET tunnel to area 19 for now.
