Predate it by like a *decade*.
I know right? I'm amazed they still work!
Ahh, young'ns. ;) You're accustomed to brand-new drives dying in a
year or two. That's a relatively recent thing, designed to drive sales
figures. Nowadays society is well-trained, due to its short memory, to
happily accept that a one-year-old hard drive is "old", a five-year-old
car is "old", etc etc. It's bullshit.
We need to find you some recent drives somewhere.
Yeah but will you be able to find 2 18G ones? ;)
Maybe. You can ask around a bit too, you know. ;) Try the sunhelp
list as I suggested awhile back.

Yes, that's SIMH running *on* VMS.
Binaries are here, currently only for VAX, still working on alpha,
feel free to download:
ebola::disk$user:[decnet.simh.vax]
Note that there's no network support. Network support works on
Alpha, but not VAX. Not sure why.
I just shut down an instance of RSTS/E v10.1 under SIMH on my VAX
7700. I'm currently booting VMS 7.3. =)
I could use these for Integrity, just... well because ;)
Well I'm not running that anywhere, so I can't help you with that, I'm
sorry. My one Itanium2-based system will not (or so I'm told) run VMS.
What does your Itanium2 run, then?
If someone can get me a compiler kit for Integrity and 'how the ****'
instructions I can do it on my zx6000 but I've never compiled
anything under VMS. First time for everything I guess :)
If you can get the compilers installed and give me an account, I'd be
happy to build it there.

It only feels like a *small* hair dryer. ;) I don't even think
too much about running little 1U machines, though. You'll
understand when you come to visit.
Yup. From the pictures I've seen, you've got quite a few racks. ;)
Speaking of 1Us, I have a 1U sitting on top of your ES40. Quite a
size difference! ;)

You're gonna love the es40 sitting in the living room waiting
patiently for you in the winter. ;! She'll definitely keep a
room warm. You get the one with two drive cages, too. Plus!
FibreChannel cards!
Schweet!
When you come to pick her up and do the trade, you can pick if you
want any of the PCI cards from my ES40. Several of them I will never
use. ;)
Ahh, thanks. I likely won't need any, but I will keep it in mind.
Okay.

Either of those is a real good way to get me to never talk to you again. :)
It was worth a shot. ;)
Nobody seems to want all of LOST season 2 for some reason!

The nicknames and usernames don't map to each other - one user might
have multiple nicks etc.
$ MCR AUTHORIZE HELP ADD /PROXY
ADD
/PROXY
Adds an entry to the network proxy authorization files,
NETPROXY.DAT and NET$PROXY.DAT, and signals DECnet to update
its volatile database. Proxy additions take effect immediately on
all nodes in a cluster that share the proxy database.
Format
ADD/PROXY node::remote-user local-user[,...]
You can list several local user accounts accessible to a single remote
user.
