What kind of floppy drive does the Multia have? Is it similar to what is used in, say, an AlphaServer 1200?

I think I'll just take that drive out, whatever it is, it may help
cooling. I'm more worried about a replacement floppy to be honest, I
like to have spare parts for everything, since finding them may be a

Ah same for me, memory reliability for me is no longer just a harware issue these days :)
I bought two Toshiba 2.5" drives for the Multia. One spare drive, just in case.

@Dave McGuire - I'm neither a kid nor a gamer. Perhaps you're
confusing the business vs. consumer services? They are quite
different; they don't even share a network infrastructure.
Well, the business side is better, for what I understand here (in the
north west,) many businesses use comcast business as backup, the
primaries differ based on each choices.
I don't know of any small company here using comcast as primary,
however may be wrong for lack of data, there may be some, they (cable
companies) lament too low business adoption, but from the other
(business clients) side there are fears mainly of security and
continuity of service.
If you have redundant fibers to your door, you may be better off using
comcast, since I read somewhere that getting fiber to the premises
with ILEC may prevent you to revert back to copper in the future.

'80s...why is a lot of it still dark?

Both TOPS-10 and TOPS-20 have DECnet Phase IV in newer releases, but, if I'm
not wrong, Ethernet support at large is a KL10 thing only, so the only KS10
option for DECnet would be DDCMP, but it should anyway run Phase IV (as long
as there is enough memory, so maybe better stick to end node only).
There is a problem with software: if I'm not wrong (again!), TOPS-20 on KS10
is limited to V4.1 (due to memory contraints?), instead I think that the same
CPU would run TOPS-10 up to the final V7.x releases. Note that probably (?)
TOPS-20 V4.1 had only Phase III, so Phase IV on 2020 seems to be available
only with TOPS-10 and DDCMP.

My business DSL was a static address, but spamhaus had it listed as a block able dynamic and I was having all sorts of problems sending and receiving email to my hoe smtp server. After removing the block things improved greatly.

Have you checked spamhaus.org to see if your home IP is listed in their database as dynamic? It's quite easy to get this removed from their database, and quite a w mail servers use their list. I had my business-grade DSL IP listed with them and it was quite easy to have it removed.
