Brian,
It has been a while but I am ready to bring up GRE on my cisco 1841. What peer address should I use to get things going so you can download the other tunnel peers via SNMP?
Also how do I need to setup SNMP to allow you to do this?
Thanks, Mark

I will be bringing up a new decnet area on hecnet (Area 22) in the near

Can I please have info on the peering for IP and any other config
details that may help. I will be using a DECbrouter 90 (Cisco) V11.1.
So, anyone know if the DECrouter will do, and who would be willing to
act as a peer?
Johnny
V11.1 supports GRE, Decnet IV Level 1 and 2 so I am hoping so. :-)
Brian can get you hooked up with his automatic meshed-tunnel config
generator, when he catches up on list mail.
Things have been very busy, but I will try to get this dealt with this
week. I'm actually moving everything to a new colo box so this will
coincide with everyone needing to change the IP they allow SNMP to come
from.
Mark, as soon as I've moved everything I'll let you know what you need
to do.

Anybody here know how good the JIT CPU speed enhancement is on the non-free version of EmuVM..
I'm considering replacing CHIMPY with a virtualised 2 CPU / 1 GB box with a large-ish disk on my new general VM hosting server, basically to save on space and electricity (well and I can then take an Alpha with me to Lebanon to play with, too :)
So I'm getting about 100 MIPS according Whetstone on the free version (I believe it's actually capped) vs 400 MIPS on the DS10-466MHz.
Any idea what a 2.93 GHz Xeon X7350 would give me with the JIT acceleration turned on?
Sampsa
Hello!
Interesting. No machines playing this game of yours Sampsa named JOSHUA?
And I arranged the lag personally. I felt that we needed some
excitement into this activity.

The CHIMPY:: 2013 Retro VT100 Challenge closes at 23:59 GMT on 31-DEC-2013.
At the moment, the leaders are (only the top two players are awarded):
1. Mark Holmes with a score of 9,816
2. Mark Wickens with a score of 7,640
Unfortunately the mystery player vola1 disappeared with his score of over 11,000 - make sure you screen shot your result when entering you name into the leaderboard, and send it to me.
Come on guys, let's get over 10K this year as well, SET HOST to CHIMPY and log in as TETRIS...

Hello!
That does make things difficult.
So what are you going to do? I don't think XXDP can remotely manage
the system wired next to it.

I can't get the 11/23+ (or the RX50 for that matter...) to work, so I can
only use the KA650.

Hello!
Cory if they do not, then I can aim two copies your way. Big problem
will be making the right arrangements to send them to you.

I need it in order to format an ST-251 as I can't get my damn 11/23+
working.
XXDP uses ZRQC?? to format an RD31 (ST-251? - right
now I can't remember) for the RQDX3 controller. I assume
that since you are using a PDP-11/23+, you are on a Qbus
system, probably a BA23 and you also have an RX50.
bitsavers should have all the XXDP images. If you can't find
them there, lets us know and I am confident that someone
can help. Your can use PUTR from John Wilson to copy
the RX50 image to a 5 1/4" on a PC using a HD floppy drive.
Don't forget to use 360K DSDD 5 1/4" media, NOT 1.2M
HD 5 1/4" media.
