I am studying Macro32 and have a seemingly simple question. My source file
is:

Macro32 decides PRINT is an external symbol, and link denies to produce
executable with a "LINK-W-USEUNDEF, undefined symbol PRINT referenced"
error. How I should make forward declaration of PRINT function to show
assembler it is valid local symbol? In C language I can make prototype
declaration before calling. But what is a right way for Macro 32?

Subject mostly says it all. One of the fans in my VS4K 90A is noisy. I'd
like to replace it. (actually both) Two questions arise:
How the **** do I get the fans out of the power supply? I've got the
power supply out (that's easy), mostly apart (that's not so easy) but do
not seem to see any screws on the fans.
Would it be safe to run it with just one (quiet) fan?
Any pointers or links would be appreciated.

Lets call it for what it is - "legacy" is a term that people use in a
polite but derogatory manner to imply that the future direction they
prefer is not that which they view as the current direction.
I'd caution against running it with one fan - I think the point of having two is in case one fails, and like hard drives it does occasionally happen.

Hmm. Area 44 don't seem to be online...
Anyway, I just tried setting host from one RSX system to another, and running phone on the remote system, and it works fine.
Not sure exactly what you saw, however one point to make is that unless you are in a conversation, you are already at the % prompt, and typing % will do nothing.
Also, ^Z should get you out of phone on RSX anyway.

I've read problems with SET HOST towards MIM in this thread which I didn't
notice.
What did not work was PHONE though. What I typed in on a local ALpha did
show up on MIM but I couldn't type into MIM's PHONE panel.
Hitting % didn't get me to the % prompt to exit PHONE on MIM.
The only way to log off was to disconnect by hitting ^Y twice at this end...
