This service is opt-in: if you want you system listed in the phone directory, let me know and I'll add it to the script. Currently it only covers areas 8 and 47.
PS: Johnny, as we're not touching area 1, you shouldn't be getting those log messages I hope..

Rob,
Thanks! I've grabbed the file. The one on this machine has been heavily customized.

Rob,
Do you know what file that logical is defined in? Can I have an original
copy
of that file?
On this machine, I have:
$ show logical sys$announce
"SYS$ANNOUNCE" = "@SYS$MANAGER:ANNOUNCE.TXT"
(LNM$SYSTEM_TABLE)

have
a
MicroVAX with 5.4 on it that I'd like to make more 'original'.

Steve,
Edumacation question. There are a number of places in NU2.COM where it
uses the switch /end_fo_file= [sic]
Unless I'm missing something "meta" about how this thing works, and
assuming it _does_ work, that succeeds in spite of the typo because...
...DCL only looks at the first 4?
De
Yes. The DCL parser will abbreviate any keyword to the shortest unique value. So the first 4 may well be enough to distinguish the /end_of_file qualifier from any other qualifier for the command. It will vary with the command.
