I picked up a Dell integrity server on ebay for 20. Anyone know if
this will run Openvms. Also as there is not media for Integrity yet
does anyone have access to it ?.
Thanks

Sorry, guys - that reply-to is always catching me out.
I suppose it might be worth opening the query up to the list anyway -
any good reason why I shouldn't be able to connect the Digital UNIX
implementation of DECnet/OSI to HECnet?
The Software Product Description attached to the previous email has more
details of the implementation.
Regards, Mark.
Should work just fine.
People have been running DECnet Phase V on VMS systems on HECnet. This
is no different.
I don't know if DECnet Phase V also use some other ethernet protocol
number for V <-> V communication, but when talking with Phase IV nodes,
it's the same standard protocol number as it has been all along.
(The question of the reply-to field is a never-ending story of pros and
cons of one or the other... :-) )

Actually, it might be worth casting your eye over the SPD to see if this
implementation of DECnet would be supported by your bridge.
I've attached the SPD.

Anyone have a copy of the SPL for Ultrix Vax online anywhere. I was
sure I had it on cd somewhere, but I can't find it. Something late
would be good. I've got 4.5 installed.
Thanks

Nothing, especially, except that it was the version I used on the very
same machine I'll be installing it on - between 1994 and 1997.
Okay, that makes sense.
Oh, well, possibly the fact that is says DIGITAL rather than Compaq.
Does that make it special? ;)
Yes.

I suppose replacing the RRD40 with a RRD42 would still leave the

have a RRD42 for sale? (I have caddies for it!)
I don't know if the InfoServer 100 ever came with the RRD42, but the InfoServer 150 *certainly* did.
