Oh, come on - be serious... TOPS-10 had DECnet Phase-IV, both on the KL and the KS (2020) machines. There are even some such machines on HECnet today!!

It even understands how to talk to other areas, although MIM doesn’t seem very friendly.
The 2020 machines never had Ethernet, at least not in any official capacity. Perhaps that’s what you are confused about? A 2020 only supported synchronous links and could only be an end node.
